Pia Rantala-Engberg was nominated as a new Ambassador at the Embassy of Finland in Rome starting from July 2019. On September 6th she received her official authorization from the President Mattarella at Quirinale. The activities at the Embassy have started with full speed also considering that Finland holds the current EU presidency. Ambassador is also the head of the Team Finland network in Italy, where also Jenni Makipaa from Finnica Consulting is active. Team Finland work concentrates on promoting and facitating business relations between Italy and Finland.
