Taking advantage of the amazing capacity of dogs to recognize scents is the core of the unique project in Cuneo Italy to introduce Covid-19 dogs to airports to screen the passengers flows. The project has been done in collaboration with a Finnish start-up company Nose Academy Oy specialized in scientific research and dog training. In Finland the Covid dogs have been used already for months at the airport of Helsinki-Vantaa with surprisingly accurate results. The Covid dogs are planned to start their service at the Cuneo Airport in the beginning of February 2021.
