Year 2021 will remain in the memory as the first Food from Finland presence at Tuttofood fair ever. A Nordic pavilion together with Denmark and Norway was called EAT NORDIC. All together about 25 companies present at the booth. There were 4 Finnish companies participating and they were all happy with the event outcome. Finnish quality oat was well present in Milan. Kinnusen Mylly with 65oats brand for gluten-free oats. Fazer Mills promoting the conventional oats. Consumer products were presented by Kouvolan Lakritsi with its liquorice and Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehdas with Kukko gluten-free beer and also alcohol-free beer.
Last Tuttofood edition in 2019 had about 80 000 visitors and there were some uncertainly for Covid pandemic for the visitor numbers for 2021, but actually the fair had an excellent numbers reaching 150 000 visitors! Of course we cannot exclude the fact that Tuttofood and Host Milano (focusing on food sector machinery) were held simultaneously and thus doubling the flow. Host Milano had 200 000 visitors in 2019. The two exhibitions are complementary and targeting the same sector, thus having a positive effect on both events. Next Tuttofood will be held in Milan Fair Center in 8-11 May 2023. I hope to see even bigger bunch of Finnish companies there!
