Slow Food, is a global organization, founded in Italy in 1989 to prevent the disappearance of local food cultures and traditions. Since its beginnings, Slow Food has grown into a global movement involving millions of people in over 160 countries where it promotes good, clean and sustainable food products.
On 22.-26.9.2016 the Slow Food event Terra Madre Salone del Gusto takes place in Turin. Food from Finland Team Finland growth program organizes a country pavilion and a B2B matchmaking at the event together with Visit Finland. Terra Madre offers Finnish companies a possibility to present their quality products; berry based and natural products as well organic and premium private labels. The B2C sales possibility during the event offers possibility to test the demand and get feedback also directly from the consumers.
